Every result on Norway Tools is an estimate you can use while you plan. It is not the amount you will be assessed, billed, or offered.

Tax and salary

The employee model uses published 2026 rates for a resident in tax class 1. It does not replace a tax return. Municipality differences, a spouse, benefits, business income, and deductions you do not enter will change the result. Your employer withholds tax from the tax card, which will not match a simple twelfth of the annual estimate in every month.

Loans and savings

Loan pages show the arithmetic of a fixed annuity. They are not a mortgage offer and they do not say that you will be approved. The affordability page applies two public lending constraints as a sketch. Pension pages leave out the National Insurance retirement pension.

Tolls, cars, and electricity

Toll, fuel, charging, spot, and grid prices are the ones you type. The electricity page estimates ordinary support from your monthly average price, while the official amount is calculated hourly. Norgespris, network charges, and support rules can change, so check current terms with NVE and your supplier.

Grades

The GPA page uses the higher-education A–F scale weighted by credits. It is not an official transcript and it is not the upper-secondary grade scale.
