This policy describes the Norway Tools website at norwaytools.com.
What you type into a calculator
Salary, loan, and other figures are processed in your browser to produce the estimate on the page. The calculators do not send those figures to a Norway Tools server, and there is no account to store them in.
Pages and hosting
Like most websites, the host that delivers the pages can see technical request data such as an IP address, the time of the request, and the address of the page. That data is used to serve the site and to keep it reliable. Norway Tools does not itself create advertising profiles or sell personal information.
Cookies and browser storage
A first-party site_preferences cookie stores whether you allow the site to remember the order of calculators shown on the homepage. It lasts for six months. If you decline that preference, the site uses only the cookie needed to remember your choice and does not save the calculator order. The preference is optional and can be changed from Calculator preferences in the footer.
The site does not use analytics. Google advertising cookies and advertising consent are separate from the site preference above. If Google AdSense ads are enabled, Google and its advertising partners, including Google DoubleClick, may use cookies or similar technologies to track activity on this and other sites, deliver ads, measure ad performance, and personalize ads where permitted by your settings and location. For personalized ads to visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the publisher must configure a Google-certified consent management platform. You can reopen Google's consent controls from Privacy and cookie settings when the message is available.
Fonts
The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files from Google, and Google receives the technical data that comes with that request, including your IP address. Google describes its handling of that data in its own privacy policy.
Advertising
If Google AdSense ads are enabled, Google, Google DoubleClick, and other advertising partners may receive technical data such as your IP address and use cookies or similar technologies to track activity on this and other sites, deliver ads, and measure ad performance. They may use information about your visits to personalize ads, depending on your settings and location. Google explains its use of data on partner sites in its partner-site privacy information. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
If you email support@norwaytools.com, your message is used to reply and investigate the issue you describe, and is kept only as long as needed for that purpose. Do not include a national identity number or a full tax return.
