Formula and calculation logic

Monthly housing cost for each option = housing payment + utilities + internet + other recurring costs

Monthly difference = option B total − option A total

Compare the full monthly cost of two housing options, including rent or mortgage payment, utilities, internet and other recurring costs.

Recurring monthly amounts are summed independently for options A and B, then the totals and their difference are compared.

Assumptions
