Quick math
Use this for quick arithmetic, percentages, or to check figures while filling in the main tool, without leaving the page.
How to use this tool
- Use Exam Timetable Conflict Checker for the question described above, and check that the inputs match your records and time period.
- Change to compare scenarios, then check the units in the result.
Formula and calculation logic
An overlap occurs when two same-day exam intervals intersect: start A < end B and start B < end A
Exam end = entered start time + entered duration
Each exam is treated as a time interval on the date you enter.
The checker compares exam intervals, reports overlaps and groups exams by day.
Add travel or rest time to an exam's duration if you want to flag tight turnarounds.
Assumptions
- Enter dates and times in your local time zone. The tool does not import or verify your institution's timetable.
- Exam duration is used to detect overlaps; travel time, room changes and accommodations must be included by you.
- This is a planning aid. Confirm final dates, times and locations with your school or university.
